CIH has a team of qualified counselors whose aim is to help students discover and develop their educational, vocational, and psychological potentialities and achieve an optimal level of social and scholastic usefulness.

The department helps students in shaping their own destiny and develops them into both mature and experienced members of the community as well as responsible professionals in their own right. Students are guided on day to day living, career choices, professional ethics, as well as psychological issues that may impact negatively on their chosen careers. CIH has also put in place a team of peer counselors that help their fellow students on minor social issues.
