This is an entry level qualification designed to develop students’ cooking skills, enhance their ability to integrate cooking skills in order to produce a variety of dishes and evaluate their own cooking. Students further learn time management, hygiene, safety and personal appearance skills required of a professional chef. The course is appropriate to prepare students for work in a professional kitchen at a junior level.
